Cuban Conformity Label Granted to Rum Santero

Sancti Spiritus, January 29 (PL-RHC)-- A group of eight rums from the Santero brand that are produced in Sancti Spiritus, received the Cuban Label of Conformity for marketing in the international market, stated Tecnoazucar specialists.

Among the awarded are natural firewater, Añejo Blanco, Carta Blanca, and reserves of different kinds aged in the Paraiso Distillery, with a long history in the manufacture of beverages and fine alcohols, located in the Melanio Hernández sugar mill, about 350 kilometers east Havana.

The assortment includes Añejo Blanco, Carta Blanca Three Years, Palma Superior, Añejo Ambarino, Añejo Reserva, Carta Oro Five Years, Añejo Seven Years and Firewater.

The brand, backed by standards of the International Standardization Organization (ISO), allows the Cuban beverage to compete with the most prestigious in nations of Latin America, Europe and Asia, where Santero is popular.

The superior quality of the productions of Paraiso Distillery also has the recognition of the Standardization Bureau of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba.

The production of rum in this Tecnoazucar institution dates from the decade of the 1940s, and has specialists in the art of mixing alcohols to achieve high quality rums.
