Islamabad, March 10 (RHC)-- Pakistani Senate Chairman Syed Nayyer Hussain Bokhari on Tuesday said that Pakistan values its relation with Cuba and desires to further strengthen its bilateral relations between the two countries.

According to Pakistan Daily Times, Hussain Bokhari expressed these views during a meeting with the ambassador of Cuba here at Parliament House.

He said that the cooperation between both the country's is exemplary, said a press release on Tuesday. He appreciated the Cuba's support during the earthquake in 2005 and scholarship programme in medical fields for Pakistani students.

Ambassador of Cuba thanked the chairman for visiting Cuba and said that the visit would further strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries.
