Havana, March 10 (RHC) -– Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Casto has sent Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro a letter related to his statements against the most recent U.S. threats against the South American nation.

In his letter, Fidel Castro congratulates Maduro for his “brilliant and valiant discourse” in the face of the “brutal plans” of the U.S. government. And he says that Maduro´'s words will be recorded in history as a proof that humanity can and must know the truth.

The letter comes on the heels of Maduro´s statements on Monday rejecting the executive order by the U.S. administration declaring Venezuela a threat to US national security and applying sanctions on seven Venezuelan officials.
