Cuba's Attorney General Meets Chinese Authorities

Beijing, Mar 18, (RHC), -- Dario Delgado, Attorney General of the Republic of Cuba, held meetings on Wednesday with representatives of the Ministry of Justice and the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China (CCP), during the second day of his official visit to China.

The Cuban attorney general arrived in Beijing Tuesday, invited by his Chinese peer Cao Jianming, with whom he held official talks and signed a memorandum of understanding advocating the increase of high-level consultations between both entities.

The document also reflects the intention to cooperate in the area of justice, as well as providing mutual support in terms of training.

The visitor also met with Deputy Justice Minister Zhan Sujun. He also participated in a meeting with officials from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection held at the People's Great Palace, in Beijing.

The delegation of the General Attorney's Office of the Republic of Cuba ends with those activities its stay in Beijing and will travel tomorrow to Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province, continuing his official visit to China.
