Cuba and Venezuela Expand Joint Cooperation Projects

Caracas, July 2 (RHC)-- The Ninth Meeting of Cooperation between Cuba and Venezuela, held every three months in Caracas, continues today as part of the strategies taken by both countries to expand their joint projects. According to Venezuelan diplomatic sources, the talks will determine which programs should be terminated and agree on those that will continue.

Taking part in the meeting, which will continue on Friday, are Venezuelan Deputy for Economic Cooperation and Technical Secretary of the agreement, Ramon Gordils, and Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Technical Secretary, Roberto Lopez.

Lopez recalled that in October this year, the 15th anniversary will be celebrated of the first bilateral agreements promoted by Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez and the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.
