Moscow, July 4, (RHC), – Russian Foreign Minster, Sergei Lavrov, expressed Saturday in Moscow that the reestablishment of diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba was an act of justice.
In an official statement, Lavrov added that he hopes that all these agreements reached by both sides will lead to the definitive lifting of the US economic blockade of Cuba and the US withdrawal from the illegally occupied Guantanamo military base.
The Russian diplomat welcomed the announced opening of embassies in Washington and Havana, a development, he said, was the result of “changing realities.”
