Mexico City, September 11 (RHC)-- The Mexican Senate has received Cuban Hero René González, one of the five Cuban anti-terrorist fighters who served long and unjust prison terms in US jails.
During the ceremony, the President of the Mexican Senate Miguel Barbosa highlighted the patriotism of René and his other four compatriots Antonio Guerrero, Fernando González, Gerardo Hernández and Ramón Labañino.
René González took the opportunity to thank the Mexican Senate and members of Parliament, and also the Mexican people in general, for their solidarity and support for the international campaign to win the Cuban Five's freedom.
