Havana, September 16 (RHC)-- Cuban President Raul Castro held official talks with the President of the Republic of Namibia, Doctor Hage Gottfried Geingob, who is on an official visit to Cuba.
During the fraternal meeting, held on Tuesday, the two leaders verified the excellent state of bilateral relations and reiterated their willingness to strengthen them, in correspondence with the historic bonds uniting the two nations. Likewise, they tackled other topics of common interest on the international and regional agendas.
Accompanying the distinguished visitor was Netumbo-Nandi Ndaitwah, First Deputy Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as Jerobeam Shaanika, Namibia’s ambassador to Havana.
Cuba was also represented at the meeting by Bruno Rodriguez, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Giraldo Mazola, ambassador of that African country.
