Havana, September 22 (RHC)-- Representatives from Cuba and Argentina have singed several accords to boost cooperation in such sectors as agriculture, cattle raising, rural development, food security and food safety.
In statements to reporters here in Havana, Argentina's Minister for Agriculture, Carlos Casamiquela, praised the new agreements, which he said cover the areas of trade, management, technical assistance, and were signed in the context of the latest visit here by Argentinean President, Cristina Fernández.
Casamiquela, who signed various memorandums of understanding with his Cuban counterpart, Agriculture Minister Gustavo Rodríguez, said the penned accords imply a stronger commitment on both sides to developing strategic cooperation. He announced the visit here in November of a technical mission from Argentina to implement the accords.
