La Paz, October 5 (RHC)-- The five Cuba anti-terrorist fighters, who served long prison sentences in U.S. jails, are visiting Bolivia at the invitation of President Evo Morales.

Gerardo Hernández, René González, Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino and Fernando González, are paying a one-week visit to Bolivia accompanied by Colonel Orlando Cardosos Villavicencio, who also is a Hero of the Republic of Cuba.

The group arrived from Ecuador, where they carried out a tight agenda and met with President Rafael Correa. They are first touring La Paz, the capital, and later will travel to the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

In La Paz, the Cuban heroes met with President Evo Morales, with parliamentarians and representatives of social movements as well as with Cuban internationalists working in that country.

They are also scheduled to join Evo Morales in the inauguration of a school named after Ernesto Che Guevara in the locality of Vallegrande, where Che´s mortal remains were buried and hidden for 30 years.

Following that ceremony, the group will visit the site where Che was assassinated on October 9, 1967.
