Havana, October 5 (RHC)-- More than 600 delegates from 20 countries are participating in the congresses of the Pan-American Federation of Nursing Professionals and the Cuban Nursing Society, two parallel events that began sessions Monday at Havana's Convention Center.
Cuban expert Idalmis Infante, president of the organizing committee, told reporters that debates focus on nursing´s contribution to the excellence in health services. Discussions also focus on current trends in human resources training in the sector.
Infante, who serves as head of the Nursing Department at the Cuban Health Ministry, added that the Havana congresses gather together Cuban and foreign nurses committed to the care of people in their daily practice of care.
