La Paz, November 14 (RHC)-- The Chamber of Deputies of Bolivia has again demanded that the U.S. government lift its over 50 year-long economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.

A communique issued by the legislative body calls specifically on U.S. President Barack Obama and his cabinet to do everything in their power to prompt the U.S. Congress to lift the siege. It also demands the return of the U.S. illegally occupied portion of Cuban territory in Guantánamo to its legitimate owners –the Cuban people.

Bolivian deputies also demanded an end to all U.S. subversive actions against Cuba aimed at regime change, as well as U.S. compensation to the Cuban people for the human and economic damages caused by U.S. aggressive policies towards Cuba for over half a century.
