Havana, November 14 (RHC)-- Cuban President Raúl Castro met Friday in Havana with former Panamanian President Martín Torrijos, who is currently on an official visit to Cuba.
During the exchange, President Raúl and the former Panamanian head of state discussed several regional and international issues of common interest. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodíguez was also on hand during Friday's meeting.
Martín Torrijos, the son of former Panamanian leader, the late Omar Torrijos, is the current President of the Latin American and Caribbean Chapter of the Socialist International (SI), a worldwide association of political parties, seeking to establish democratic socialism.
