Hanoi, November 19 (RHC)-- Cuba and Vietnam have agreed on new areas of cooperation in the framework of the 33rd Meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission, which concluded Thursday in Hanoi.
During Thursday's final session, Cuban Minister for Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca and Vietnamese Construction Minister Trinh Dinh Dung, signed the agreement that paves the way for the development of bilateral economic and trade cooperation relations through the year 2020.
Minister Malmierca noted that the accords, among them a new sports cooperation agreement, reflect the maturity of relations between the Caribbean state and the Asian country, which are this year celebrating the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
