Havana, December 26 (RHC-PL) -- Members of the 10 permanent commissions of the National Assembly of People's Power (the Cuban Parliament) began Saturday discussions on core issues of the Cuban reality at Havana's Conventions Center.
For three consecutive days, the deputies will review the national situation and define strategies and solutions to the problems of the country, as a prelude to the sixth regular session of the legislature, called for December 29th. Issues for discussion include the application of Resolution 17, which implements the pay for performance, the presence of young people in non-state management of the economy and the state of the Foreign Investment Law.
On December 29th, the results of the economic plan of the current year, projections for 2016 and the adoption of the draft State Budget Law will be put forward for consideration by the plenary.
