Mexico City, January 7 (RHC)-- Mexico's Senate has urged the creation of a permanent dialogue mechanism with Cuba, as well as more dynamic, strengthened economic and trade ties between the two countries.
An agreement adopted by Mexican senators, urging the country's Secretariat for International Relations to engage in permanent dialogue with authorities in Havana on issues like migration, investment, exploration and drilling of hydrocarbons in the Golf of Mexico, science and technology.
Mexican senators are also asking their federal government to negotiate the signing of a Mexico-Cuba free trade agreement.
