Havana, April 26 (RHC) – Whistleblower website WikiLeaks has published some 367,000 pages of U.S. government documents, related to the term in office of U.S. President Jimmy Carter, in which the word “Cuba” appears on 3,215 pages, CubaDebate reported on Saturday.
The documents include "relevant international developments in the interest of U.S. policy-makers since 1977, including reports on the global reaction to the construction of the neutron bomb, as well as the visit of Egyptian President Muhammad Anwar as-Sadat to Israel," Wikileaks says.
According to searches in the dossier prepared by the website, “Fidel Castro” can be found on 1,530 pages, while “War in Angola” on 2,197.
When the name "Luis Posada Carriles," one of the masterminds of the bombing of a Cuban airliner in 1976 is searched for, four records are listed, one of which is a confidential report of the Secretary of State to Carter, which states that there is evidence of a CIA plot involving the terrorist to assassinate Cuban leader Fidel Castro.
