Rubio claims Trump wants to buy Greenland. Image:Youtube.El Universal

A little used to the ravings and power hallucinations of the current president of the United States, the irascible tycoon Donald Trump, whose intentions are sometimes a little difficult to take seriously, such as the purchase of Greenland and the restoration of the Panama Canal.
However, everything seems to indicate that it is not just the result of a bad night's sleep because in reality the ruler and his team have the purpose of putting into practice some purposes, accustomed to the fact that in his world everything has a price.
Thus, the Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, who has already lied on other occasions, ratified that Trump is serious about buying Greenland, despite the fact that the inhabitants of the island and Denmark said flatly that they were not interested in selling.
Greenland's Prime Minister Mute Egede, who supports independence for the territory, has repeatedly said that it is up to the people of Greenland to decide their future, and that does not include becoming a U.S. colony.
For Washington, this is like listening to the rain and not getting wet, and Rubio reiterated that for his boss this issue is no joke.
The United States wants to buy Greenland and does not rule out military coercion to acquire it, said the head of diplomacy of the northern power, showing its self-sufficiency.
"This is not about acquiring land for the sake of acquiring land. This is a matter of national interest and must be solved," he said.
But this is not the only case, as Trump himself revealed his twisted thinking when he pointed out, without any evidence, that an imaginary air traffic controller belonging to ethnic diversities would be to blame for the recent plane crash.
The President of the United States does not care about the magnitude of the tragedy, the pain of the families of the 67 victims of the crash of an airliner with a military helicopter, or any humanitarian considerations regarding the painful incident.
Their first reaction was to blame the administrations of Barack Obama and Joseph Biden for allegedly favoring racial integration over efficiency, as if only white personnel were capable of performing the tasks of directing air traffic.
A bleak future for a country formed from a melting pot of races, from which Trump himself, his wife and children, all of whom have ties to immigration, as well as his new Secretary of State, are not exempt.
