During the last few days the siege announced by French farmers on Paris is closing and puts against the wall the government of Emmanuel Macron and his new and young prime minister, Gabriel Attal, who are looking for how to appease the anger of those who feel their rights have been postponed or forgotten.

Last night a meeting of more than 3.5 hours was held between Attal and the protest leaders, who are complaining about their falling incomes, low pensions, excessive environmental regulations and the negative effects of foreign competition.

While this was happening, hundreds of tractors mobilized towards the "City of Light" and began to set up eight blockade points in the region of Ile de France, where the capital is located, preventing traffic in both directions on the major highways.

The so-called "Paris blockade" will be carried out, they warned, for an undetermined period of time and similar measures were announced in other parts of the country, such as Lyon, Marseilles and Brittany.

But this problem, quite serious of course, is not the only thing that is keeping the Elysée Palace awake at night, because there are numerous open fronts.

Four organizations of cab drivers also called for a fight for better incomes and the day before they carried out a turtle operation in several cities, including the capital.
