Ecuador’s Culture and Heritage Ministry has announced the attendance of 23 authors from that South American nation to the 23rd International Book Fair, Cuba 2014, set to open in Havana on February 13th.
Writers expected to participate from the guest country of honor include Raúl Serrano, Gabriela Alemán, Javier Vásconez, Gabriel Paz, Raúl Pérez Torres, Miguel Antonio Chávez, Abdón Ubidia and Alfredo Noriega. In Havana Ecuador’s Raúl Serrano will launch his Anthology of Ecuadorian Essays published by the Cuban Publishing House Arte y Literatura, while poet and editor Gabriel Paz, also from the South American country, is set to exchange with readers on his book Kubrick y la máquina del insomnio (Kubrick and the Insomnia Machine), casting doubts on time and space.
