New York, April 30 (RHC)-- Cuba's Orquesta Aragon, which from 1939 to date has made millions of fans dance, performed to a sold-out concert at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx, New York.
The audience enjoyed traditional Cuban music to the rhythm of one of the most renowned and emblematic groups of the 20th and 21st centuries, according to Cuba's First Deputy Foreign Minister Gerardo Peñalver on his Facebook profile.
La Aragón, led by maestro Rafael Lay (son), performed songs from their last two albums, "Icono" and "Cha cha chá: homenaje a lo tradicional", with which they won the Latin Grammy in 2020 and 2021, in the category of Best Traditional Tropical Album. (Source: PL)
