Havana, July 16 (RHC)-- Polish striker Robert Lewandowski traveled today to the city of Miami to join FC Barcelona's roster, after an agreement was reached on Friday between FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Lewandowski arrived at the Bavarian club's sports facilities for the last time the day before, where he received a warm farewell from his teammates and coach Julian Naggelsman, who played a decisive role in the signing.
The Polish striker thus closes an eight-year spell with the German club, during which he won every possible title at club level and became one of the best players in the world.
Upon his arrival in Miami this Saturday, he will undergo a medical examination and will immediately start working under the orders of the Culé coach.
The most recent winner of The Best award will sign a three-year contract and the transfer was priced at 45 million euros plus five million euros in variables, in what already ranks as the biggest sale in the history of Bayern Munich.
