Paramaribo, Suriname, Sept 20 (RHC) - Cuba-Peru and Mexico-Guatemala will play this Friday in the semifinals of the U-23 Men's Pan American Volleyball Cup in Suriname.
Mexico earned the last ticket to the semifinals by defeating host Suriname 3-0 on Thursday, while Peru had also previously qualified by beating the Dominican Republic 3-2.
The Cubans had booked their direct passage to the semifinals by topping their qualifying group with three straight victories.
Mexico and Guatemala qualified to the II Junior Pan American Games Asuncion 2025 as the top two non-ranked NORCECA teams in the event. Cuba and Dominican Republic qualified at last year's U-23 Cup.
