Brasilia, July 30 (RHC)-- The right-wing politician who orchestrated the parliamentary coup against President Dilma Rousseff, Eduardo Cunha, resigned in tears earlier this month from his post as speaker of the lower house of Congress in Brazil. However, he threw one last bash before losing the luxurious amenities afforded to him by his post in Congress.
After resigning, he lost the privilege of having an 800 square meter mansion built in the exclusive neighborhood of Lago Sul in the capital of Brasilia – complete with lavish perks like a grand garden and private swimming pool.
But Cunha left the house in style, throwing an exclusive barbecue party with dozens of guests who shared with him his last moments in the beautiful residence.
Cunha is being investigated for multiple corruption and perjury allegations, and has been suspended from the lower house.
