Washington, December 4 (RHC)-- The Washington Post reports House Democrats are debating whether to extend the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump beyond the central allegation that he withheld military aid from Ukraine in order to pressure the Ukrainian president to investigate Trump’s political rivals, the Bidens. 

Members of the House Judiciary Committee are reportedly considering drafting articles of impeachment that would also include obstruction of justice and other “high crimes” outlined in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report. 

The lawmakers are also considering including articles of impeachment charging Trump with trying to profit off the office of the presidency.  The Intelligence Committee is sending its final report on Ukraine to the House Judiciary Committee.
