Paris, October 28 (RHC)-- Muslim communities around the world are denouncing French President Emmanuel Macron’s public backing of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad, accusing Macron of attacking Islam.
Macron made the comments during a vigil for a French teacher beheaded outside his school earlier this month. The teacher had previously shown his students a cartoon of Muhammad.
Protests against Macron have erupted across Bangladesh, Palestine, Iraq and other predominantly Muslim nations. Meanwhile, Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait and others are demanding a boycott of French products.
