Colombian foreign minister resigns amid protests against Iván Duque
Bogota, May 10 (RHC)-- Colombian Foreign Minister Claudia Blum has resigned, becoming the second resignation in Iván Duque's cabinet in the last two weeks, amid strong protests against the policies of the current Colombian administration.
Blum apparently had differences with the Colombian president, regarding the way he has been handling the current crisis that has overwhelmed the country, after a wave of protests which Blum has not been able to justify to the public opinion or to international organizations, according to Colombian media.
Since last week in Colombia there have been protests against government measures, and human rights organizations denounce that President Iván Duque continues to use excessive repression which has so far left more than 500 injured and at least 27 dead.
