Brasilia, July 4 (RHC)-- With massive, combative and peaceful demonstrations, thousands of Brazilians took to the streets on Saturday in 361 cities of that nation to demand the resignation of President Jair Bolsonaro and support the petition presented to the Chamber of Deputies to initiate an impeachment trial against him.

The actions of the "Out Bolsonaro Campaign" on Saturday were particularly large in cities such as Curitiba, Fortaleza, Belo Horizonte, Belem, Porto Alegre, Caxias do Sul, Recife and Pernambuco, according to photos and videos disseminated through social networks.

The march was also massive in Rio de Janeiro.  In Sao Paulo, epicenter of the pandemic, Paulista Avenue was filled with thousands of demonstrators in defense of democracy, the right to life and the investigation of Bolsonaro's link to a corruption scheme surrounding the purchase of vaccines against the coronavirus.
