Buenos Aires, July 11 (RHC)-- The Central de Trabajadores de la Argentina (CTA) has requested an investigation of the administration of Mauricio Macri for sending weapons to Bolivia to support the coup d'état of 2019 when evidence is growing about the arrival of arms during the coup government of Jeanine Áñez.
Through a statement entitled "Bolivia: Macri and his henchmen must be investigated and tried," the Argentinean labor organization pointed out that "the documents released yesterday in Bolivia show that, in November 2019, the coup leaders of that country received from Argentina military supplies to repress the popular resistance."
In that sense, the Bolivian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the original document, which proves the Macri government sent repressive materials in support of the coup, was in the archives of the Air Force, and that it has the seal and signature of the Argentinean Naval Mission in Bolivia.
In this regard, the Minister of Defense, Edmundo Novillo, clarified last night that the government of Jeanine Añez authorized the entry of Argentine military personnel and weaponry on November 13, 2019.
In a press conference, Novillo explained that the authorization for the arrival of the aircraft that arrived at El Alto International Airport was granted by the Foreign Ministry during the administration of the former de facto president.
Áñez proclaimed herself on November 12, 2019 and swore in her cabinet on the night of November 13, after having been given the authorization for the arrival of the C-130 of the Argentine Air Force, for which she blamed the direct management of the self-proclaimed authority.
The collaboration of Macri's government with the coup d'état in Bolivia in 2019, which ended with the presidency of Evo Morales, goes far beyond the sending of a dozen gendarmes to protect the ambassador, as the head of the PRO, Patricia Bullrich, attempted to justify.
According to a report carried out within the Ministry of Security, the military material sent was greater than that which the head of the Bolivian Air Force at that time thanked in a note.
In this regard, former President Macri described as "nonsense the accusation of the government of Luis Arce of supporting the "coup d'état" against Morales by having allegedly sent "war material" to La Paz in the midst of the social and political crisis that took place in November 2019.
In its manifesto, the CTA argues that the unobjectionable evidence presented by the Government of Luis Arce makes it clear that Macri (December 10, 2015 - December 10, 2019) knew in advance that a coup d'état was being plotted against the then president.
