Buenos Aires, October 26 (RHC)-- The foreign ministers of the countries of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) are holding a meeting this Wednesday in the capital of Argentina to address the current challenges facing the region.
Among the topics to be discussed at the XXIII Meeting of CELAC Foreign Ministers are the post-pandemic economic recovery, the anti-corruption agenda and dialogue with extra-regional partners. They ae also discussing health strategy, food security, infrastructure integration, environmental cooperation and the improvement of the situation and conditions of women in the Member States.
According to Argentinean official sources, the meeting of foreign ministers takes place at the Foreign Ministry headquarters. The meeting will take place on the eve of a joint meeting of CELAC and European Union (EU) foreign ministers, the first since 2018, to strengthen bi-regional dialogue.
The meeting aims to renew the strategic partnership, based on historical, cultural and human ties, and strengthen ties so that relations reach their full potential.
