Brazil seeks a way to restore peace between Russia and Ukraine

Havana, April 22 (RHC) - The President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, affirmed this Saturday he is working to restore peace between Russia and Ukraine by seeking a group of countries that facilitate negotiations, because "it is better to find an exit on a table than trying to find a way out on the battlefield'.

In a press conference after meeting with the president of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, Brazilian president said: "Russia does not want to stop, Ukraine does not want to stop, we are going to have to find a group of countries that can generate a relationship of trust (…) The idea is to stop the war, sit down to negotiate and talk”.
