Several Israeli soldiers killed, injured in chopper crash in southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah

An Israeli (U.S.-made) military UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed in southern Gaza during an evacuation mission, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers and injuries to eight others.  The Israeli military copter crashes in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah, leaving a number of occupation forces dead.

Tel Aviv, September 12 (RHC)-- An Israeli military helicopter crashed in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah, leaving a number of  occupation forces dead or injured, amid the regime’s unprecendented aggression on the besieged Palestinian territory.   The Israeli (U.S.-made) military UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed in southern Gaza during an apparent evacuation mission,

Initial reports by Israeli media said five soldiers were killed and 10 others injured following the chopper crash on Wednesday, with four of them in critical condition.  The reports claimed that the helicopter belonged to Unit 669 of the Israeli occupation army’s air force and crashed due to a "technical malfunction.”

The regime’s officials have yet to comment on the incident.  Other reports put the number of dead at three and the injured at eight.  The deadly incident occurred against the backdrop of Israel's month-long genocidal war against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which has taken a heavy toll on the besieged territory.

Israel has waged its genocidal war against on Gaza for nearly one year, targeting schools, hospitals, homes, residential buidings, and houses of worship.

More than 41,000 Palestinians have been killed, most of them women and children.  Upwards of 94,920 individuals have sustained injuries as well.
