Delcy Rodríguez stated that the revolutionary organizations and the generations that have made the Bolivarian Revolution possible are summoned to build the new communal State, whose deep roots are found in the Angostura Speech of Liberator Simón Bolívar.
Caracas, November 15 (RHC)-- Venezuela's Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, inaugurated on Thursday the National Congress of the Bolivarian Historical Bloc, occasion in which she said that just as the Venezuelan people overcame the worst difficulties and defeated the colonialist armies, today with that same force will defeat the new armies of neocolonialism and financial capital.
During the opening of the meeting, Delcy Rodriguez pointed out that more than 3.5 million Venezuelans participated in the previous debates, a milestone in the effort to re-found Venezuela.
The Venezuelan vice president valued that these debates were an expression of participation and direct democracy. She recalled that the thousands of proposals -about 500,000- emanating from the analysis of the people in more than 100,000 assemblies were presented to President Nicolás Maduro.
She also affirmed that these allow outlining the future of Venezuela for the next years, with a concrete action agenda of the Seven Transformations (7T).
The Venezuelan vice president pointed out that the first of these is the economic transformation and the overcoming of the criminal blockade imposed on Venezuela by the US and Europe. She considered such pressure measures, which total 947 aggressions, as the most serious violation of human rights of the Venezuelan people, conceived to asphyxiate the economy and annihilate the people.
Delcy Rodriguez emphasized that Venezuela has developed an economic model that migrated from the oil rentier economy to a productive culture, with 18 engines conceived by President Maduro.
She described it as a profound transformation of production and communication relations. He affirmed that workers are called to play an important role as the fundamental muscle of the growth and development of the Homeland, guarantee of social happiness.
Delcy Rodriguez identified that the second transformation guarantees the construction of human habitats in harmony with nature, with adequate public services.
She recalled that the third appeals to peace, security and sovereignty. Peace must be our main port as a nation in the face of the drums of war and violence that sound throughout the world. She referred that the fourth transformation alludes to the efforts to heal the wounds of the economic war, with the social missions and other initiatives to procure social equality.
The Venezuelan vice president explained that the fifth transformation is the political one, which responds to a communal State, built on the bases of the people, with the people raising the banners of democracy, of Bolivarian socialism, with the human condition as the center, and which implies the action of the State in the face of corruption and other harmful phenomena. T he new State must be born and the bourgeois State must die; it cannot be postponed, emphasized Rodriguez.
The Bolivarian leader mentioned that the sixth transformation is of an ecological nature and implies a deep respect for nature if we want to save the human species from its disappearance, at a time when the world is facing emergencies such as climate change due to the consumerist model promoted by capitalism.
As the seventh transformation, she pointed out the new geopolitics of power. She evoked ideas expressed by Commander Hugo Chávez on the articulation of the peoples of the majority nations against imperialism, in order to achieve balance and understanding.
She underlined the importance of having a diplomacy of peace to contribute to the formation of a multipolar and multicentric world, to promote respect for the United Nations Charter and to conceive a world respectful of peace.
Building this new world and ridding ourselves of a decadent world are the two goals that emanate from this effort, stressed the Venezuelan Vice President, who said that one component of this struggle is the fight against fascism, the great enemy of the peoples of the planet.
The fight against neo-fascism and Zionism is the same and must guide Venezuela's efforts in the face of the attempt to destroy the State and the direct democracy of the peoples, which denies life and foments war. More will never happen, she said.
Delcy Rodriguez recalled that this international network of right-wing organizations is expanding in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. We are anti-fascists by conviction. There can be no understanding with fascism because of its irrational condition and because it is incompatible with human life. They will be defeated by fighting.
And she emphasized that Venezuela embraces the Palestinian cause as its own.
