Washington, April 15 (RHC)-- U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered the military to take control of a narrow strip of the U.S.-Mexico border spanning some 2,000 noncontiguous miles from the Pacific Ocean to New Mexico.
The land transfer is an attempt by the Trump administration to skirt federal law prohibiting U.S. troops from being used in domestic law enforcement, including as immigration agents.
