Iraqi officials said three people were also injured in the incident, where an explosives-laden vehicle was blown up at a garage in Sadoun Street of central Baghdad late on Monday. The Arabic-language al-Sumaria satellite television network reported that in addition to the seven people, a civilian was killed and seven others were injured when a car bomb exploded in Baghdad’s eastern neighborhood of Betawin. In another attack, a physical education teacher was killed by a magnetic bomb attached to his car in Baghdad’s Hayy al-A’amel district.
