Caracas, January 14 (RHC)-- Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has met with his cabinet to evaluate proposals and set the work guidelines to begin a new stage of the Bolivarian Revolution.

The meeting centered on the country's economic transformation, which aims to confront the economic war unleashed by foreign-backed right-wing sectors. It also analyzed strategies to strengthen the social justice model, which has prevailed in the country over the last 17 years of revolutionary government, first under the leadership of former president, the late Hugo Chavez, and now under President Maduro's government.

Last Saturday, President Maduro met with members of his government and announced transformations in some economic sectors, mainly fishing and aquaculture.
