Bogota, Mar 1 (RHC) The Colombian government representative to the peace talks rejected criticism from the sectors opposing a transitional justice agreement signed with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia–People's Army (FARC-EP).
In a conference held in Bogota, lawyer Humberto de la Calle, confirmed that the agreement abides by international standards and is considered one of the most transcendental achieved to date.
De la Calle highlighted that the methodology followed tries to throw light on the truth, tests the participants in the long-lasting conflict and compensate the victims, and works to prevent a relapse.
