Caracas, Apr 18 (RHC-PL) A group of specialists in rescue operations and an airplane with donations arrived in Ecuador from Venezuela, sent under express orders of President Nicolas Maduro, to assist the victims of the quake that left well over 300 people dead and thousands more injured.
Venezuela Interior Minister, Gustavo Gonzalez, said the team includes medics and specialists in rescue operations of collapsed buildings, and canine tracking units from the Simon Bolivar Humanitarian Task Forces.
Bolivian President, Evo Morales, volunteered support to deal with the catastrophe, and said that an aircraft from Bolivia's Air Force will fly in help.
Cuba, Russia, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, El Salvador, Panama and other countries have also sent messages of condolences to Ecuador and the families of the victims.
