Beijing, February 27 (RHC-PL)-- Cuba's ambassador to China Miguel Angel Ramirez and China's Deputy Justice Minister Liu Zhiqiang met Monday in Beijing to evaluate prospects for expanded cooperation in the judicial and legal matters.
During the exchange, at the headquarters of the Chinese Justice Ministry, the two officials pointed to professional training and exchange of experiences as areas for future cooperation.
The Chinese deputy minister offered information on an ongoing process to reform the Chinese judicial sector.
The Cuban diplomat explained aspects related to the updating of the economic and social model of the Caribbean nation and the need for the law system to be adapted to the new Cuban reality.
The two sides agreed on the excellent state of bilateral relations and the broad prospects for strengthened cooperation and exchange between the Ministries of Justice of Cuba and China.
