Guantánamo, January 8 (RHC-PL)-- Authorities in the province of Guantánamo continue to monitor the weather situation in Baracoa, punished in recent days by heavy rainfall.
Forecasters at the Meteorological Center in eastern Cuba explained that the rains are related to high humidity at low and medium levels, as well as the presence of a large depression, and a stationary cold front.
According to weather experts, 82.2 millimeters of rainfall were recorded in the last 24 hours in Baracoa and it is expected that meteorological conditions will not change over the next day.
