Havana, March 23 (RHC)-- A survey by the U.S. organization Cuba Educational Travel (CET) revealed that U.S. travelers feel safe on the Caribbean island.
The survey, conducted from February 26th to March 1st, was sent via e-mail to U.S. travelers that visited Cuba in the last 14 months, and completed online through the Survey Monkey website.
Over 98 percent of those surveyed said they felt safe in Cuba, while more than 95 percent considered travel service providers and Cuban institutions well prepared to respond to health and environmental issues.
Also, 96.75 percent of those surveyed by Cuba Educational Travel recommended traveling to Cuba, despite a travel warning against Cuba issued by the U.S. State Department.
