Havana, August 14 (RHC)-- Abiding by a 2018 scholarship plan that will benefit hundreds of students in the Caribbean, the Cuban Embassy in Saint Lucia announced the granting of thirteen capacities for the study of medicine, dentistry and post-graduate medical sciences.
The selected Saint Lucian students signed the commitment to the Code of Ethics to be observed in Cuban higher education centers and received their scholarship files.
Five hundred and sixty Saint Lucians have graduated from higher education in Cuba from the beginning of the scholarship program until 2017.
Twenty-three students from Haiti will also pursue careers in Medicine, Engineering, and others in Cuba beginning the next school year. More than 1,500 Haitians have graduated in Cuba.
