Havana, January 4 (RHC)-- Cigars, packaging, agriculture, literature and trade will feature in some of the events to be held in Cuba this year.

The Packgraf Fair will be held in Pabexpo, Havana, January 29-31, where containers, packaging solutions and graphic design will be the focus of attention as part of the Cuban government's plans to increase production and replace imports.

The 21st edition of the Habano Festival, one of the most long-awaited and internationally renowned events of the year, will take place from February 18th to 22nd at Havana’s International Convention Center.

Cigar lovers from over 50 countries will enjoy a complete program of activities where they will learn first hand, everything there is to know about this exclusive product, according to sources from the Cuban Chamber of Commerce.

New launches by the most prestigious brands will be announced during the Festival, while the program also includes master classes and conferences by renowned experts, as well as visits to tobacco plantations and cigar factories.

February will feature another event: the Havana International Book Fair, one of the most important fairs of the year and this year dedicated to Algeria. The event is set to see the participation of more than 40 countries.
