Havana, January 4 (RHC)-- The Cuba-Algeria intergovernmental cooperation commission will be held in Algiers from January 27 to 29, Rodrigo Malmierca, Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, announced Thursday.
According to a Twitter post by the Cuban diplomat, the event will serve to continue strengthening the long-standing ties of friendship between our peoples.
Both nations have maintained close ties since the African country's independence in 1962, and work together in fields such as health, energy, new technologies, construction, education, culture and sports.
