Buenos Aires, February 6 (RHC)-- Cuban tour operators are promoting new attractions in Argentina.
In a meeting with tour operators of this southern country, the Havanatur company, the main travel agency of the Caribbean island, presented a variety of options for Argentine visitors, from the traditional sun and beach tourism to the more specialized nature, cultural, or religious tourism.
Cuban diplomat in Argentina Janet Ayala told Prensa Latina that the 500th anniversary of the foundation of Havana allowed showing a renewed, rejuvenated, modern, and continuously developing destination.
She cited, for example, the many newly opened hotels in the Cuban capital, among them Paseo del Prado.
Argentina is currently placed among the top 20 emitters of tourists to Cuba.
