Havana, October 15 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel has announced that he is traveling to the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba where he will make a governmental visit.
On his Twitter account, the president said that several days ago, during a meeting of the Temporary Working Group of the Government for the Confrontation of COVID-19, he reported that in the stage of 'new normal' of the country, the governmental visits to all the provinces would be resumed, interrupted seven months ago by the appearance of the coronavirus.
This style of work allows the leaders of the State and the Government, with the accompaniment of the political and mass organizations, to reach out to local residents and examine the processes of production and services in each territory, in order to trace strategies that improve the economy and therefore the quality of life of the Cuban people.
