Havana, November 17 (RHC)-- The Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, headed by its first secretary, Army General Raúl Castro, met Tuesday to analyze issues related to its 8th Congress.
During the session, aspects related to the Organizing Task, which related toto eliminating the monetary and exchange duality, the wage and price reform, among other elements of the economy, were also evaluated.
The Political Bureau has been working intensely in preparing the Party's 8th Congress, and last week it discussed some of the documents that will be submitted to the meeting.
Then it discussed the 'Evaluation of the fulfillment of the Resolution of the VII Congress of the Party about the objectives of work of the First Conference, related to the functioning, ideological activity and links with the masses. Projections to perfect the work in the present and future circumstances.
