The meeting will be a dynamic of collective construction where social, political, peasant, trade union, women's, student and youth representatives, artists and intellectuals, and environmental and grassroots community organizations will participate.
It also becomes a space for dialogue on the development and convergence of Caribbean struggles in defense of national sovereignty and independence, peace, sustainable development, social justice, equity, and the promotion and protection of cultural identity.
On Monday, the virtual anti-colonialist and anti-imperialist meeting takes place under the slogan "Main challenges for our peoples." It will aim at coordination to create convergences and achieve coherence in initiatives and struggles.
On Tuesday, participants will join the people of Santiago in the Parade of the Serpent, the popular inauguration of the 41st edition of the International Caribbean Festival.
A significant moment will be the homage to the founding heroes of the nation in the Santa Ifigenia patrimonial cemetery.
