Havana, September 8 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez received in Havana on Thursday his counterpart from Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, with whom he held official talks.
The leaders reviewed the guard of honor at the Palace of the Revolution and introduced the delegations participating in the program for the official visit.
It was reported that the program in Havana will be conducive to highlighting the willingness of both countries to achieve a high level of coordination in the different multilateral organizations and to deepen and diversify bilateral economic relations.
Cuba and Guinea Bissau maintain close cooperation in health and human resources training, which has allowed thousands of young people from that West African nation to be trained on the Caribbean island in various specialties.
