Berlin, Nov 18 (RHC) The Meeting of Cuban Residents in Europe (ECRE) being held in this capital will address concrete projects to support the Caribbean Island and its people, Marite Diaz, a delegate to the three-day event said on Friday.
In declarations to Prensa Latina news agency, the member of the association La Estrella de Cuba in Germany and the Juntos X Cuba channel considered the forum a propitious space to discuss concrete initiatives to support her homeland, taking advantage of the opportunity of the physical meeting after more than two years of the Covid-19 pandemic’s impact.
Díaz added that among the results of ECRE 2022, meetings that began in 2006 in Paris, projects such as campaigns to publicize Cuba’s reality and the impact of the United States blockade and solidarity actions could be expected.
